How does the University Line impact the environment in a positive way?

In addition to the fundamental environmental benefits of public transit, bicycling, and walking that will be invested in through this project, PRT will also be receiving fifteen battery-electric buses that will serve one or more of the PRTX routes along this corridor. These buses will be sixty-foot, articulated (bendy) buses with zero tailpipe emissions, benefiting our local air quality and contributing to a quieter urban environment.
