McKee Place Station

Construction at this location began in June 2025 to excavate and relocate water and sewer infrastructure, construct new sidewalks, curbs and ADA-accessible ramps. The work also included installing underground conduit for station power, traffic signals and pedestrian safety systems. A small amount of plastic fencing will restrict exposed electrical conduit until PRT returns in 2026 to install the station.
Roadway restoration along Forbes Avenue was completed in August 2025.
The next phase of work will be station installation starting in 2026. This station will have a new 60-foot bus shelter with an ADA compliant loading zone and accessible ramps. Station amenities will include seating, lighting, next-bus arrival screens, fare vending machine, bike racks, emergency phones, and security cameras.
