Forbes Avenue between Schenley Drive and Schenley Drive Extension

Bigelow Station 

Construction at this location began in June 2025 to excavate and relocate water and sewer infrastructure, construct new sidewalks, curbs and ADA-accessible ramps. The work also included installing underground conduit for station power, traffic signals and pedestrian safety systems. A small amount of plastic fencing will restrict exposed electrical conduit until PRT returns in 2026 to install the station.

Central Oakland Station 

Forbes Avenue and South Bouquet Street

Construction at this location began in June 2025 to excavate and relocate water and sewer infrastructure, construct new sidewalks, curbs and ADA-accessible ramps. The work also included installing underground conduit for station power, traffic signals and pedestrian safety systems. Barrels will provide a safety barrier to restrict exposed electrical conduit until PRT returns in 2026 to install the station.
