The construction detour remains in place at 5th Avenue and Liberty Avenue. The detour will remain in effect 24/7 until work is finished at this location, which is scheduled to happen in mid-October.
The contractor is scheduled to work Monday through Friday from 7AM-5PM, weather permitting. The contractor may work on Saturdays if needed to keep the project on schedule.
The contractor is performing exploratory excavation and installation of a storm drain. This work is expected to take 2-3 weeks.
If you stopped by the work site, you may have noticed water coming out of the hydrant. Nothing is broken, PWSA is exercising their water valves.
