The University Line Weekly Update

Construction for the University Line continues on Sixth Avenue between Grant and Ross streets.

The contractor is performing exploratory excavation and preparing to install new water and draining infrastructure.

Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction as shown in the picture below. Bus detours will remain the same. Pedestrian access will be maintained on both sides of the street.

The construction detour will remain in effect 24/7 until work is finished at this location, which is expected to happen by the end of January.

The contractor will continue to work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.-5 p.m., weather permitting. The contractor may work on Saturdays if needed to keep the project on schedule.

Please note that the contractor will not be working December 25-30.

Thank you for your continued support of this project.
